Jody Peek, originally from southern Davis County, has moved to Creston to work at the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) as a soil conservationist.

Peek attended college at Iowa State University and graduated in 2008 with a degree in agronomy. She worked as a student trainee at NRCS while in college and soil conservationist in both Fayette and Iowa counties.

“I am excited to begin working at the Union County NRCS office, and I look forward to meeting farmers and landowners within the county,” said Peek.
