Musical comedy spells F-U-N at Warren Cultural Center
GREENFIELD — Everyone’s a winner when the 25th annual “Putnam County Spelling Bee” takes the stage at Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield. History Boy Theatre Company from Jefferson will present the musical comedy 7 p.m. June 29.
Tickets are on sale now at Ed & Eva’s, 154 Public Square, Greenfield, and online at warrenculturalcenter.com. Cost for general admission seating is $12 for adults and $8 for students.
“Putnam County Spelling Bee” is the comedic tale chronicling the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime. In the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, the six youngsters learn winning isn’t everything and losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser.
