Lenox 5, Nishnabotna 3

LENOX — Caleb Lange homered and drove in two runs and Mason Peterson pitched a complete game victory as Lenox topped Nishnabotna, 5-3, Monday night.

Lange finished 2-for-4 with a single, home run and two RBI for Lenox (6-6). Hugo Monteil also had two hits and two runs batted in. Dusten Reed had a pair of hits for the Tigers and Spencer Brown drove in a run.

Peterson allowed no earned runs and five hits in seven innings pitched. He struck out seven and walked five.

Blue Devil pitchers Riley Scroggie and Schyler Brennen issued 11 walks while yielding eight Tiger hits. At the plate, Lenox had only one strikeout.

Murray 10,

Central Decatur 9

LEON — Winning pitcher Cody Scroggie racked up 11 strikeouts along with eight walks in six innings as Murray outlasted Central Decatur Monday, 10-9.

Scroggie also scored two runs for Murray (9-4). Austin Halls picked up the save with one inning pitched and went 3-4 at the plate with four stolen bases and three runs scored.

Pat Kilmer was 3-4 with two RBI for Murray. Sam Rockhold had a hit, drew three walks and scored three runs.

Central Decatur fell to 6-8.
