Winners of the 2013 SWCC/Small Business Development Center small business leadership awards include:

• 10 employees or less: Carver’s Ridge, Stuart; Tyson and Anne Greenwalt, owners.

• 11-50 employees: C&C Custom Cycle, Chariton; Bob and Mary Chipp, owners.

• 51-plus employees: Precision Optical Group, Creston; Mike Tamerius and Matt Somers, owners.

According to Dave McLaren, conference organizer and Iowa Small Business Development Center regional director at SWCC, the small business leadership awards were established to recognize outstanding entrepreneurial achievements and support rural Iowa economic development.
