Summer reading programs end 6 p.m. July 26. Adults who complete their 1,000 pages will receive a water bottle for participating. Attention adults – keep an eye on the “Groundbreaking Reads” poster located on the wall near the elevator across from the check-out desk. Have you noticed any weekly changes? Your sense of observation could win you a prize.
Children and teens who finish the summer reading program have the opportunity to continue reading for a “special prize.” For every half hour teens read, they will be entered in a drawing for an extra prize.
When children visit the library and check out books, they will be entered into a drawing for an inflatable dinosaur.
Don’t forget there will be movies at the library on July 10, 17 and 24 for school-age children. This is a way to beat the afternoon heat.
The library will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 3 and closed July 4. Have a safe and happy holiday.
