Alissa Jill Jennings, 41, 613 N. Elm St., was charged with failure to appear and interference with official acts.

According to a Creston Police report, officers went to Jenning’s residence with a valid Union County warrant. On the officer’s second attempt to execute the warrant, officers observed Jennings through a window as she sat on a couch in her living room. As officers repeatedly knocked on the door and announced their presence, Jennings continued to ignore officers command to come to the door. Because the officers could visually see Jennings through the window and had a valid warrant in hand, they forced their way into her residence. Jennings resisted arrest and refused to comply with officers.

Jennings is being held on $1,000 bond.
