Lenox Police

Paul Daniels, 29, of Lenox was charged with operating while intoxicated, second offense, and driving while suspended 9:35 p.m. Wednesday.

According to a Lenox Police report, an officer observed a vehicle traveling north on Main Street in Lenox without headlights on. The driver was stopped and identified as Daniels. The officer determined Daniels had suspended drivers licenses in Iowa and Illinois and he had been drinking. After failing field sobriety tests, Daniels was transported to the Taylor County Sheriffs Office for further processing.

Daniels was being held awaiting an appearance before the magistrate.
