Chandler Dean Parker, 11, 211 S. Sumner St., and Chaz Michael Dean Miller, 12, 608 W. Adams St., were referred to juvenile authorities for harassment and criminal mischief 3:22 p.m. Friday.

Parker was released to his father and Miller was released to his mother.

Ray Graham, 26, of Lenox was charged with fifth-degree shoplifting 4:30 p.m. Friday at Hy-Vee in Creston.

According to a Creston Police report, Graham left Creston Hy-Vee with a concealed bottle of Captain Morgan rum valued at $17.16 without paying for it and was stopped by a manager.

Graham was released on promise to appear.

Brandon Robert Fry, 32, 609 S. Maple St., was charged on a Union County warrant for aggravated assault 8:31 p.m. Friday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were dispatched to 312 W. Montgomery for an assault. Two witnesses and a victim said Fry and another male entered the building and began talking with the victim. As the other male spoke with the victim, Fry struck the victim in the back of the head with a hammer, which caused a minor laceration.

Fry was released on $2,000 bond.

Ryan Michael Weis, 27, 905 W. Mills St., was charged with disorderly conduct 2:10 a.m. Sunday at his residence.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were dispatched 11:43 p.m. Saturday to Weis’s residence for a report of loud music. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Weis and advised him of the complaint and told him to turn the music off. At 1:19 a.m. Sunday, officers received a second complaint of loud music, and Weis was warned a second time. At 1:35 a.m. Sunday, a third complaint was received. As the officer was on his way back to Weis’s residence, he parked a-half block away and could hear the music. When the officer returned, Weiss was still on his porch.

Weis was realeased on $300 bond.

Tonya Lea Nauman, 46, 608 W. Adams St., was cited for allowing a dog to run at large 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to a Creston Police report, Nauman’s dachshund dog ran into her neighbor’s yard at 101 S. Spruce St.

Frank Lester, 101 S. Spruce St. reported harassment from his neighbors and vandalism to his motor vehicle 5:34 p.m. Friday.

Damage estimate is $75.

Anthony Neil Ploeger of Linden reported a two-piece sectional, toddler bed, Curio cabinet, large picture frame with pictures, kitchen items, Pampered Chef kitchen items and truck tires were taken from his storage unit at 200 W. Taylor St. between 3 p.m. May 26 and 6 p.m. Sunday.

Loss estimate is $3,300.
