Twelve-Mile cost share available
The Union County Soil and Water Conservation District is accepting applications for cost share for farmland in the Twelve Mile Lake Watershed.
The district has received funds from the Watershed Improvement Review Board to help install conservation practices in the area that drains into Twelve Mile Creek above the lake or directly into the lake.
These practices include grade stabilization structures (ponds) and water and sediment control basins. The field office will provide planning help and a cost estimate.
