TABOR — Lenox had five players record multiple hits as the Tigers improved to 16-13 for the season after a week-long layoff.

Katie Dukes went 2-for-5 with two RBI to lead the Tigers, while Syd Barker, Madison Douglas and Jacy Stoaks each collected two hits and drove in one run. Aurora Arevalo also finished with two hits for the Tigers.

Bailey Rainforth picked up the win in the pitching circle, striking out three and walking four, while allowing just three hits.

“After a week layoff, the Tigers traveled to F-M and captured a 7-1 victory,” Lenox head coach Tom Shields said. “Well balanced hitting, good pitching and strong defense paced the win.”

SE Warren 1

MILO — Bailey Rainforth picked up the win for the Lenox Tigers for the second night in the row, holding Southeast Warren to just one run on three hits, while striking out three and walking three in the regular season finale.

Beth Christensen, Taylor Foster, Katie Dukes and Hannah Maxa each finished with two hits for Lenox. Maxa, Madison Douglas and Makinna Fitzgerald each drove in two runs. Aurora Arevalo and Jacy Stoaks both drove in one run apiece.

“The Tigers finished out the regular season with another road victory over POI rival Southeast Warren,” Lenox head coach Tom Shields said. “Again, balanced hitting, good defense and strong pitching keyed the win. The new season begins at Tiger Field with a Region 7 game versus Orient-Macksburg Monday at 7 p.m.”

The Tigers closed the regular season with a 17-13 record overall and 8-8 in the Pride of Iowa Conference.
