Joey Gene Baxter, 32, 314 Livingston Ave., was charged 5:10 p.m. July 5 with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, second offense, at 160th Street.

According to an Iowa State Patrol report, Baxter was stopped for a traffic violation and officers suspected him of being intoxicated. Field testing showed Baxter was operating under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. A breath test at the law center showed Baxter to have a blood alcohol concentration of .182 percent.

Baxter was released on $2,000 bond.
