Booster club

Creston Activities Booster Club will meet 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at A&G Steakhouse and Lounge.

Agenda includes Aug. 19 freshman lunch, officers for next year, high school parent activitynight Aug. 22, Aug. 18 city canvassing by students, new fall items for booster club clothing and Ford’s Drive 1 4 UR School volunteer schedule.

Iowa Games

Today is the deadline for online registration for youth baseball competition at the Iowa Games.

Competition will be held July 27-28 at Hunziker Youth Sports Complex and area fields in Ames for 10 and under, 12 and under and 14 and under age divisions.

Entry fee is $190. Register online at www.iowagames.org.

Lenox camp

LENOX — The Lenox Boys and Girls Basketball Camp will be held July 10-12 from 8 a.m. to noon at Lenox High School for players entering grades 3-8.

Co-directors are boys varsity coaches Jesse Cox and Steve Tussey, along with varsity girls coach Mandy Stoaks.

Cost is $20 for pre-registration and $25 at the door, which includes a camp T-shirt. Checks can be made out to Lenox Boosters. Send to Tigers Basketball Camp, Lenox HIgh School, 600 South Locust, Lenox, IA 50851.
