I-35’s Williamson signs with SWCC

Southwestern Community College head softball coach Lindsay Stumpff announced third baseman Jordan Williamson from Interstate 35 High School will be joining the Spartans softball program during the 2013-14 school year.

During high school, Williamson, of St. Charles, was a multi-sport athlete lettering in softball four years, volleyball three years, basketball three years, and track three years. She was name second team all-conference in softball her junior year and second team all-conference in basketball her senior year.

She was captain of her high school volleyball and basketball teams. She also exceled academically, lettering in academics and being named to the A and B honor rolls throughout high school.

Williamson is the daughter of Gayle and Val Willamson of St. Charles. I-35 is playing in a Class 3A regional final tonight at Saydel against Bondurant-Farrar.
