Creston

I thought I was at the Des Moines Civic Center watching a troupe from New York perform the musical “Oliver,” but I was at the Creston High School auditorium watching Creston Community Theatre perform what was a fabulous production of this wonderful musical. From the orchestra to the performers to the set, it was beautifully done. I can’t imagine how much hard work went into presenting this musical, but much applause and thank you to everyone who had a share in “Oliver.”

I also got my mail over the weekend and was proud to see the Creston Living magazine that helps promote the Creston area. What a classy, informative, fun magazine about the area in which we live, work and play. Hopefully it will make us all more aware of the great businesses and services we have to offer. We all need to make a better effort to support the community that supports us, our schools, activities, and creates jobs for us.

I look forward to the next production and publication. Thanks Creston for making me proud to live here, and thanks, too, for the wonderful love and support you all gave me after the tornado.
