KinKennon, Krotter to wed in August ceremony

Chadwick James KinKennon and Amy Jean Krotter announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

KinKennon, the son of Jim and Sue KinKennon of Papillion, Neb., and grandson of Dale and Leota Blazek, and the late Leroy and Regina KinKennon, all of Creston, is a 2000 graduate of Papillion-LaVista High School. He attended University of Nebraska at Omaha and earned a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology in 2006, and earned an associate degree in nursing in 2011 from Northeast Community College. KinKennon is a registered nurse at Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital in O’Neill, Neb.

Krotter, the daughter of Jeanne Krotter of Spencer, Neb., the late Bill Krotter, and the granddaughter of Cornelius and Joan Murphy of Stuart, Neb., Alice Krotter of O’Neill, Neb., and the late Robert Krotter, is a 2002 graduate of Spencer-Naper High School and a 2009 graduate of University of Nebraska Medical Center with a doctorate in pharmacy. She is a pharmacist at West Holt Pharmacy in Atkinson, Neb.

The couple will wed at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in O’Neill, Neb., Aug. 10. A reception and dance will follow at O’Neill Community Center.
