Prescott Community School District audit released

Nolte, Cornman and Johnson released an audit report on the Prescott Community School District.

The district’s revenues totaled $1,215,208 for the year ended June 30, 2012, a 4.13 percent decrease from the prior year. Revenues included $573,151 in local tax; charges for service of $57,477; operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $173,355; capital grants, contributions and restricted interest of $7,166; unrestricted state grants of $383,829; nonspecific program federal grants of $289, unrestricted interest of $1,789 and other general revenues of $18,152.

Expenses for district operations totaled $941,677, an 18.49 percent decrease from the prior year. Expenses included $406,696 for regular instruction, $132,983 for other instruction and $89,000 for administration services.
