Five Creston Panthers were selected to Hawkeye 10 All Conference teams released today.

Making first team and taking care of a majority of the pitching duties for Creston was sophomore Haylee LaMasters.

LaMasters had an 18-15 record this season with 191 innings pitched. She maintained a 3.30 ERA and recorded 211 strikeouts.

At the plate, LaMasters averaged .355 for the Panther offense, driving in 31 RBIs and blasting a team-high five home runs this season.

Joining her on the first team was shortstop Taylor Briley, one of three freshmen selected to the Hawkeye 10 First Team.

Briley helped fuel the Panther offense, leading the team in hits, 50; runs scored, 35; and batting average, .450.

The second half of the Panther battery — catcher Natalie Mostek — was a second team selection.

A sophomore, Mostek went a perfect 15-for-15 in steal attempts. She also led the Panthers in RBI with 36 while batting .389.

Also making the Hawkeye 10 Second Team was senior Mackenzie Andreasen.

Andreasen handled the first base duties for the Panther defense and brought in 30 runs on 32 hits for the offense. She hit .337.

Making honorable mention was another Panther freshman, Josie Sickels.

As leadoff batter, Sickles sparked the Panther offense by scoring 24 runs and drawing 12 walks this season. She hit .286.

The Panthers finished the season with an overall record of 19-17. They finished fourth in the Hawkeye Ten standings with a record of 11-7.
