GREENFIELD — In May, Adair County Memorial Hospital’s Board of Trustees and Executive Officers announced the plan to renovate part of Adair County Memorial Hospital (ACMH) with a goal of maintaining high-quality services in Adair County. The outpatient area, operating rooms, specialty clinic and registration area are all being considered for renovation.
The board of trustees and executive officers have chosen ACI Boland Architects and Graham Construction Company to oversee the renovation project. Currently, they are in the schematic design process of the project and soon will be moving to the 3P project.
The 3P project is the development of a three-dimensional cardboard life-size model of the interior of the renovation, which is a product of the collective input of the people who work and/or utilize a particular area of the facility.
ACMH’s Board of Trustees, executive officers, staff and various community members will be involved in the 3P project. The project planning and design stage will go through the fall and construction is expected to begin in the spring of 2014.
The goal of Adair County Health System is to keep the community informed as the project moves forward. Information will be released to the public throughout the process.
