Vincent Donald Arnell Jr., 59, of Des Moines was charged on a Union County warrant for violation of a protection order 12:48 p.m. Monday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center.
According to a Creston Police report, officers were dispatched to the Union County Law Enforcement Center to speak with a male about a person who violated a protection order. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who stated he received a call from Arnell, who left a voice mail, in the middle of the night. Officers listened to and recorded the voicemail. The victim stated it was Arnell that made the phone call, and he has received them in the past.
Arnell was released on promise to appear.
