Lenox man killed in ATV accident

A Lenox man died and a child was injured after the four-wheeler he was driving was found overturned.

According to an Iowa State Patrol report, a volunteer figherfighter found an overturned 1987 Honda 4-wheeler in the ditch 5:27 p.m. Wednesday on 250th Street at Poplar Aveue, southeast of Corning. Under the 4-wheeler, the figherfighter discovered a 9-year-old minor and Carey Ishikawa, 41, of Lenox. Ishikawa died at the scene. The unidentified child was transported by Mercy One Helicopter to Des Moines Mercy Hospital. Iowa State Patrol is still investigating the accident.
