Murray totals six on Bluegrass all-conference
The senior tandem of Austin Halls and Cody Scroggie found itself on the Bluegrass Conference first team in baseball, as six Mustangs in total earned all-conference honors.
Halls was named to the first team as an infielder after hitting .489 with 14 doubles, one home run and 22 RBI. He also stole 29 bases in 30 attempts. Halls finished with a 4-3 record on the mound, posting an earned run average of 3.39 with 73 strikeouts in 51 2/3 innings.
Scroggie, meanwhile, earned first-team honors as an outfielder after hitting .522 with eight doubles, three triples and 23 RBI. Scroggie also finished third in the state for all classes with 56 stolen bases in 57 attempts.
