Connie Marcellus Branson, Mo.

Constance “Connie” L. Marcellus, 63, of Branson, Mo., died Aug. 12, 2013, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Mo.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at the First Presbyterian Church in Branson, Mo. The Rev. Thomas N. Willcox will officiate. Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson, Mo. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson, Mo. Memorials may be given to Children International, 2000 E. Red Bridge Rd., Kansas City, MO, 64121.

Constance Louise Marcellus, daughter of Jean (Boyle) and Clair Boyd, was born Aug. 31, 1949, in Hastings, Neb.

On June 13, 1971, Connie married Peter Ralph Marcellus in Creston.

They moved to Branson, Mo., from Trenton, Mo.

Connie was an office manager and physician’s assistant.

Connie was a member of PEO in Branson, Mo.

Connie is survived by her husband Dr. Peter Marcellus of Branson, Mo.; son Theron (wife Tiffany) Marcellus of Columbia, Mo.; daughters, Dr. Jennifer (husband Dr. Jonathan) Patterson of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Amanda (husband Clinton) Miles of Branson, Mo.; father Clair Boyd of Branson, Mo.; sister Ronda Boyd of San Diego, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Connie was preceded in death by her mother and sister Barbara Boyd.
