Cortney Darwin Lynam, 36, of Lorimor and Nicole Annette Hoffman, 41, 408 N. Vine St., were charged 10:47 p.m. and 5:22 p.m. Tuesday, respectively, at their residences on Union County warrants for third-degree burglary, second-degree theft and violation of a protective order.

According to Union County Sheriff reports, Lynam and Hoffman violated a protective order July 24 by having personal contact with each other while participating in a burglary. Lynam and Hoffman entered a residence located at 2030 225th St. in Union County and took items that they did not own. Documents show the protective order was issued May 1, and does not expire until May 1, 2014.

Lynam was being held at Union County Jail on $5,000 bond, and Hoffman was being held in Ringgold County Jail for Union County on $5,000 bond.
