No citations were issued after an accident 9:48 a.m. Thursday at West Taylor and South Elm streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Andrea Marie Brenner, 32, of Humboldt, driving a 2006 Buick, was driving west on West Taylor Street in the inside lane. Harold D. Pennington, 71, of Lucas, driving a 1999 International, was also driving west on West Taylor Street in the outside lane. Brenner attempted to change lanes and did not see Pennington because of a blind spot. As Brenner changed lanes, she struck the front left of Pennington’s vehicle. There were no injuries.

Damage estimates are $3,700 to Brenner’s vehicle and $2,500 to Pennington’s vehicle.

Arlene Louise Worthington, 51, of Mount Ayr was cited for failure to maintain control after an accident 3:57 p.m. Friday at 210th Street.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, Christopher Darrin Franklin, 42, of Afton, driving a 2007 Chevrolet, was stopped in the southbound lane behind a school bus unloading passengers. Worthington said her glasses had fogged over, did not see that Franklin’s vehicle was stopped and ran into the rear end of the pickup. Both vehicles went onto the west shoulder, avoiding the school bus.

Damage estimates are $5,500 to Worthington’s vehicle and $2,500 to Franklin’s vehicle.

Christopher Michael McGinnis, 41, 316 Livingston St., was cited for failure to have accident-related insurance, failure to have a valid driver’s license and failure to maintain control after an accident 3 a.m. Monday at Three Mile Lake.

According to a Union County Sheriff report, McGinnis, driving a 1990 Chevrolet, left the beach at Three Mile Lake. He turned, headed west down the road toward the boat ramp and drove his vehicle into Three Mile Lake. The vehicle was totally submerged approximately 40 feet from the dock.

Damage estimate is $2,000 to McGinnis’s vehicle.

Tracey Lea Gray, 49, of Prescott was cited for failure to yield upon a left turn after an accident 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at North Lincoln and West Townline streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Gray, driving a 2010 GMC, was traveling east on West Townline Street when she was distracted by a child at an intersection while attempting a left turn to travel north on North Lincoln Street. Gray said she did not see Everett Lee Hoskins, 65, of Bridgewater driving a 2000 Harley-Davidson. Hoskins was traveling west on Townline when Gray turned into the lane occupied by the motorcycle. Gray’s vehicle collided with Hoskins’ motorcycle in the intersection. Hoskins was injured and taken by ambulance to Greater Regional Medical Center.

Damage estimate is $500 to Gray’s vehicle and $1,500 to Hoskins’ vehicle.
