Dale Lamb Cottonwood, Ariz.

Dale Clinton Lamb, 80, of Cottonwood, Ariz., formerly of Lorimor, died Aug. 16, 2013.

Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at Pleasant Valley Christian Church in Iowa. Dwayne Henrichs will officiate. A small private viewing was held in Arizona for family and friends. Memorials may be sent to his widow Fern Lamb at 2364 S. Warriors Run, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.

Dale Clinton Lamb, son of Lillian and Harry Lamb, was born June 29, 1933, in Madison Township of Clarke County in Iowa.

Dale worked and lived most of his life in Iowa, spending 24 years at Oscar Mayer in Perry. A few years ago, he moved to Cottonwood, Ariz., to be near his brother.

Dale is survived by his wife Fern Lamb; children Joy (Dean) Chevalier, Diana Johnson, Marcia (Doug) Devilbiss, Victor Lamb and Melanie Lamb; stepdaughter Linda (Dave) Seagren; sisters Norma Thompson, Faye Leeps and Shirley (Melvin) Allison; brother Don (Mary) Lamb, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; son Roy Dean Lamb; half brothers Russell Reagan and Roy Bernard Lamb; and half sister Ruth Weeter.
