Chicago’s comedy theatre The Second City will appear 7 p.m. Sept. 20 at Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield. This special performance of Second City’s improv all stars will feature an entirely improvised show based on audience suggestions.
Tickets are on sale now at Ed & Eva’s, 154 Public Square, Greenfield (641-743-2566), and online at warrenculturalcenter.com. Seats are $30 for premium (front half of auditorium) and $20 for standard.
The Second City celebrates more than 50 years of satiric reviews, as well as the launching pad for generations of comedians. Their alumni include Alan Arkin, Joan Rivers, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, Martin Short, John Candy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Mike Myers, Steve Carell, Stephen Colbert and Tina Fey.
An evening with The Second City provides audiences a chance to see comedy stars in the making and a one-of-a-kind show of satire and improvisation. No topic or subject matter is off limits for the Second City (this show may contain adult material).
