Jennifer Nemmers of Clive and Todd McNichols of Ankeny were married July 6.
The bride is the daughter of Theodore and Linda Nemmers of Clive. The groom is the son of Lee and Sandy McNichols of Creston.
The Rev. Guthrie Dolan officiated the ceremony held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in West Des Moines. Music was provided by organist Frank Cebuhar and vocalist Blythe Stanfel.
Matron of honor was Amy Kruger, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stacy McDonough, sister of the groom, and Kim Schade.
Best man was Darren McNichols, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jamie Schaefer and Jason Haines.
Flower girls were Olivia Kruger, niece of the bride, and Morgan and Riley McDonough, nieces of the groom.
Ushers were Ryan Nemmers and Ted Nemmers, brothers of the bride, and Ryan Oshel.
Guest book and reception hosts were Dave and Marge Ward and Mary Miller, uncle and aunts of the bride.
A reception was held at Lakeside Center in Ankeny.
The bride graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in graphic communications, and Iowa State University with a master’s degree in business. She is employed as a research remediation associate at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
The groom graduated from William Penn University with a degree in busines information systems. He is employed as an application developer at IMT Insurance.
After a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple reside in Ankeny.
