Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) has promoted Casey Purdum to financial officer. He is serving the operating, machinery, livestock and mortgage loan needs for producers in the Union, Ringgold and Adair county area.

“We’re glad to have an individual with the ag experience and credit knowledge Casey brings to the table,” said Corby Fichter, vice president of the Red Oak and Harlan FCSAmerica offices. “We’d like to invite local producers to stop in our office or invite Casey to their operation to talk about their financing needs.”

Purdum is a Creston native. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in agribusiness. Purdum joined FCSAmerica in 2010 as a credit analyst in the Omaha office. In this role, he worked with FCSAmerica financial officers to evaluate, decide and document customer credit requests.

Farm Credit Services of America is a customer-owned financial cooperative that finance the growth of rural America, including the special needs of young and beginning producers. With more than $19 billion in assets and more than $3 billion in members’ equity, FCSAmerica is one of the region’s leading providers of credit and insurance services to farmers, ranchers, agribusiness and rural residents in Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming.
