FBI manhunt ends in rural Adams County

Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation raid a residence at 205 E. Mills St. Tuesday in search of Brandon Robert Fry, who was being sought on a federal warrant for felon in possession of firearms.

A federal warrant led officials to the capture of a Creston man Wednesday night in Adams County.

According to Creston Police Chief Paul Ver Meer, Brandon Robert Fry, 32, who listed a previous address of 609 S. Maple St., was wanted on a federal warrant for felon in possession of firearms.

Based on information provided by an informant, federal agents raided two residences in Creston Wednesday.

Just after 4 p.m. Tuesday, agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided a residence at 205 E. Mills St., in search of Fry.

Earlier that day, agents also searched for Fry at a residence at 103 N. Stone St.

Fry was apprehended by law enforcement before 7:30 p.m. in rural Adams County.
