AMES — Crestonians got the celebration started Monday night on the first stop of WHO13’s RVTV final tour for the Iowa and Iowa State rivalry series.

Fans will join Keith Murphy and Andy Fales during their final stop of the RVTV tour in Ames for pregame tailgating.

Kickoff is slated for 5:05 p.m. at Jack Trice Stadium and will be telecast on Fox Sports 1.

This will be Iowa’s first road game of the 2013 season. Sophomore quarterback Jake Rudock is expected to get the start for the Hawkeyes.

The Hawkeyes got off to a rough start of the 2013 campaign, falling to Northern Illinois 30-27. They rebounded last weekend, defeating Missouri State and will carry an overall record of 1-1 into Ames.

Iowa State fell in their first game of the season to the University of Northern Iowa Panthers. The Cyclones had an off weekend to prepare for the Hawkeyes.
