The annual Friends of the Library used book sale will be Friday and Saturday at Lincoln School.

Friday’s sale will run 4 to 8 p.m. This is collector’s night. Friends of the Library members will be admitted free.

There is a charge of $1 for all nonmembers who attend the Friday book sale. Saturday book sale hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and admission is free to all. All proceeds of the book sale go to support library projects.

Friends memberships are available at Creston Library or at the door the evening of the sale. Cost is $3 for students, $10 for adults and $15 for families.

In addition to admission to collector’s night, Friends of the Library members have extended checkout periods (three weeks instead of two), free days for late returns (three extra days per item), advanced email notification regarding new books and activites, opportunities to volunteer and three-day DVD and VHS checkout.
