All women are invited to “Doorways to Wellness of Body, Mind and Spirit” at the 2013 Metanoia Women’s Christian Retreat.
Each year, there are two retreat sessions to be held in October at the Christian Conference Center in Newton. Some women prefer to attend the weekday sessions 3 p.m. Oct. 9 through 1 p.m. Oct. 11, while others prefer to attend the weekend sessions 3:30 p.m. Oct. 11 through 1 p.m. Oct. 13.
Pasha Buck is the resource speaker this year and is a licensed region minister, which emphasizes both her ecumenical ministry and ministry related to spiritual formation and growth. Buck is currently a volunteer chaplain at The Village, a continuing-care retirement community in Indianola, and has been a college English professor and small-business owner.
