Jami Michael, 19, 1206 Ivy Ave., was charged 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Law Enforcement Center on a Union County warrant for probation violation on an original charge of credit card fraud.

Michael was being held at Ringgold County Jail on $2,000 bond.

Christopher Adams, 39, 1304 N. Cherry St., was charged with violation of a protective order 5:50 p.m. Tuesday.

According to a Creston Police report, at approximately 4 p.m., Amanda Adams called to report a violation of a protective order. Amanda Adams said Christopher Adams entered the residence of 1010 1/2 Crest Dr. without permission and destroyed property. His presence there was in violation of a valid court order of protection. An officer met with Christopher Adams at the Law Enforcement Center, and the protective order was confirmed valid and on file.

Adams was being held in Union County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.

Bradley Waltz, 1622 Dogwood Ave., reported a garage on his rental property in the 500 block of North Elm Street was spray painted and vandalized during the night of Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.

Damage estimate is $800.

Justin Byers, 505 N. Walnut St., reported four tires on his work vehicle were slashed, while it was parked at his business at 117 N. Walnut St., between 11 and 11:30 p.m. Sept. 6.

Damage estimate is $650.
