Sixth Ride for Hospice to be held Oct. 5

Motorcycles will rumble through southern Iowa as riders come together to benefit terminally-ill patients and their families in the Greater Regional Ride for Hospice 2013.

On Oct. 5, motorcycle enthusiasts will travel 125 miles to raise funds for Greater Regional Hospice, a nonprofit organization serving patients in Adair, Adams, Clarke, Decatur, Madison, Ringgold, Taylor and Union counties.

The route will begin and end at the gazebo near Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston, with a meal served at noon prior to the motorcycle ride.

Registration begins at noon. Preregistration is encouraged and may be completed at www.GreaterRegional.org. Registration fees are $30 per motorcycle. All registration fees include an official ride T-shirt and a meal. Additional T-shirts may be purchased for $15.
