My husband and I participated in your town’s 36th annual Balloon Days this past weekend. Being “rookie” balloonists, we were not sure what to expect. I am not sure where to begin ...

Our host family, the Fastenows, were the most amazing people ever; just good, friendly, helpful people who love to have fun and enjoy life and their families. People we hope to be life long friends with. We thank them so much for all they did for us.

Also, our hats off to the community of Creston, such a beautiful, clean town. It is good to see such a thriving community that participates in the town’s activities. So many turned out for the ballooning events and droves of people for the downtown parade.

We just want to say thank you to the community for planning such a wonderful event. Also, a shout out to the great wait staff and volunteers at the Elks Club for the great food. We had a wonderful time.

It was truly a pleasure to visit Creston; you should all be proud of your beautiful town.

See you next year.
