GREENFIELD — A new member/parent meeting for Adair County 4-H’ers is scheduled 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the green room at Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield. This meeting is for new members and their parents and current members and parents (first or second year). Expectations, future dates, 4-H enrollment (4honline), hands-on activities and a light meal are on the agenda.
Youths planning to join 4-H this year are encouraged to attend the meeting. This is an event planned to commemorate National 4-H Week Oct. 6-12, and answer questions for 4-H’ers and their parents.
Adair County 4-H is now accepting enrollments for the 2013-14 project year. All area youths in fourth through 12th grades may enroll. In addition to livestock and animal projects, 4-H offers opportunities in areas such as photography, foods, woodworking, and leadership.
