Leiser, Harrison wed in May ceremony

Megan Leiser and Collin Harrison, both of Prairie City, were married May 18 at Smith Memorial Chapel in Indianola.

The bride is the daughter of David and Ruth Leiser of Creston. The groom is the son of Joe and Linda Harrison of Gowrie.

Maid of honor was Jenna Lamparek. Bridesmaids were Amanda Leichty, Malia Lloyd, Mary Beth Bell, Shelley Leiser and Jamie Barker, sister of the groom.

Best man was Brett DePue. Groomsmen were Derek Schutjer, David Albrecht, Scott Schuknecht, Zachary Leiser, brother of the bride, and Matthew Barker, brother of the groom.

Flower girl was Madyson Barker, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Carter Barker, nephew of the groom. Personal attendants were Jessica Rundle and Michael Krejci.

Ushers were Corey Miller and Craig Lamm. Junior usher was Jackson Barker, nephew of the groom.

A reception was held at Ramada Tropics Resort and Conference Center in Des Moines.

The bride graduated from Creston High School in 2006. She attended Simpson College in Indianola and graduated in 2010. She is currently employed as case manager at Easter Seals in Des Moines.

The groom graduated from Gowrie High School in 2006. He attended Simpson College in Indianola and graduated in 2010. He is currently employed as math teacher at Prairie City-Monroe Junior High School in Prairie City.

After a honeymoon to Breckenridge, Colo., the couple now resides in Prairie City.
