Accident

No citations were issued after an accident 10:33 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of West Taylor Street and North Sumner Avenue.

According to a Creston Police report, William Paul Anstey, 20, of Corning, driving a 2002 Chevrolet from the Family Restaurant parking lot, and Kathryn Ann Adams, 69, 1002 W. Jefferson St., driving a 2011 Dodge from First National Bank parking lot, both turned east onto West Taylor. Both vehicles entered their respective lanes at the same time. Anstey made a wide turn and the front driver’s side bumper made contact with the passenger side door of Adams’ vehicle.

Damage estimates are $1,000 to Anstey’s vehicle and $2,500 to Adams’ vehicle.
