Frank Leroy Morse Orient

Frank Leroy Morse, 63, of Orient died suddenly Oct. 15, 2013, upon arrival at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, at Watson-Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr. Open visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday with family present 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.watsonarmstrongfh.com.

Frank Leroy Morse, son of Opal (Jones) and Everett Morse, was born March 4, 1950, at home near Conway.

Leroy went to Mount Ayr Community School.

Leroy worked at the gummy bear factory in Creston for 15-plus years and did farm work on the side.

Leroy is survived by his children, Christina (Jeff) Dillinger of Diagonal, John Morse (fiancé Tanya) of Norwalk and Jennifer Morse; grandchildren, Brandon Lawrence, Rosemary Hunt, Quintin Chumbley, Dylan, Justin Jeremiah, Natausha and Kaylynn Dillinger, Tommy Morse, Hannah Wilson, Ethan Morse, Jaquoyr Barrett, Zalina Morse, Jazabella Morse and Jennifer’s children; siblings, Ruby Hall of Redding, Marvin Morse of Mount Ayr, Ron Morse of Washington state, Nancy (Jerry) Clark of Diagonal, Julie Roach of Adel, Rick Morse of Essex and Bonnie (Frank) Baker of Redding; and aunt Arlene Thomson of Savannah, Mo.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ruth Morse and grandson Arron.
