Recent news stories on the status of the Hurley Creek watershed project has caused me again to wonder what the status is with the trees along the creek in relation to the new subdivision planned to the west of the creek. Are they going to be left or removed? Common sense would be to let them stay and help with the watershed project.
My thoughts then turned to the house on Adams street, and its status. Let’s hope that when the new council takes office in January, they will review the project and decide to leave the house where it is. It shouldn’t be too hard to redesign the project, leaving the house where it is and then designating the area to the east of the house as a green area, as a part of the watershed project.
