Stop racism in this community

Creston

The level of discrimination and racism I have experienced in this community has just been outstanding. No matter what I have experienced, it pales in comparison to what my kids have experienced.

My daughter has been denied of her TAG placement because her teacher at the time did not think she could qualify for TAG despite the fact that she came here with a gifted program from another state. On the other hand, my son who came with a special education was instantly placed in special education. Why the disparity. So, the one with special education had to need it, but the one who is gifted cannot possibly be gifted?

It has even gotten worse since my son has been in high school. Some kids even have the guts to call him a “NIGGER” to his face. I believe they are just trying to taunt him and get him into a fight. Of course the big bad black kid.

If this community does not stop their racism, it will be difficult for them to keep a black person professional in this community. I am not the only one who feels this way, most colored people in this community do, I just happen to have the choice to leave.
