From Lynette Shute-Waters
When I first moved to Creston from Council Bluffs nine years ago, people weren’t very friendly.
One day, while I was in my yard, Bill Bowen came by and started talking to me.
Though his appearance was unconventional, I no longer noticed it because his kind heart was what was out of the ordinary.
The Gospel says to be kindhearted and he certainly was that.
A righteous man will be remembered forever.
I have no doubts, Bill will be standing on the far side banks of Jordan someday, to give me another welcome.
