Five teens were charged in a Sunday incident in Leonox. Chris Kingery, 14, was charged with operating without the owner’s consent; Sam Donaldson, 13, was charged with second-degree theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor by providing alcohol to a minor; Joe Estrella, 15, was charged with second-degree theft, Eduardo Estrella; 17, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor by providing alcohol to a minor; and Pedro Castor, 17, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor by providing alcohol to a minor and second-degree theft.

According to a Lenox Police report, officers were notified of a hit-and-run incident in the 100 block of Bedford Avenue in Lenox. The owner of Chevrolet reported it was parked 10:30 p.m. Saturday, and upon returning to the vehicle, found it had been severely damaged.

Officers identified witnesses who stated the car had been stolen and taken for a joy ride by the juveniles after their attendance at an underage alcohol party in Lenox Saturday night. The juveniles are students at Lenox High School. Investigation shows four separate juveniles operated the vehicle at different times. The vehicle was driven on gravel roads to Clearfield where it was operated recklessly and sustained a variety of damages.

Additional traffic charges are pending against several juveniles. All juveniles are in the custody of their parents.

Damage estimate to the vehicle is more than $3,000.
