Adams County Sheriff

Jacob Michael Leary, 30, of Creston was charged with possession of methamphetamine 3:39 p.m. Wednesday.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, Leary was charged on a Cass County warrant for possession of methamphetamine stemming from a traffic stop Sept. 18, when Leary was charged with driving while suspended by Adams County sheriff deputies. Adams County K-9 unit was called in and located drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine in the vehicle.

Leary was being held on $1,000 bond.

Nathan D. Simington, 21, of Lenox was charged on an Adams County warrant for possession of marijuana 7:08 p.m. Wednesday.

According to an Adams County Sheriff report, Simington was stopped for a traffic violation July 27. Adams County K-9 unit was called to assist and located items in the vehicle.

Simington was being held on $1,000 bond.
