Terry Gene Tull, 55, 112 Manor Dr., and Brady Richert, 34, 705 S. Maple St., were charged with public intoxication 10 p.m. Wednesday at Tull’s residence.

According to a Creston Police report, officers were called to Manor Drive for a fight in progress. When officers arrived, Richert was on the ground and Tull was staggering on the sidewalk. Tull staggered toward the apartment complex door, and after an officer told him to stop he continued inside the building. An officer followed Tull into the building, commanding him to stop, but he continued up the stairs until the officer was directly behind him. The officer observed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Tull as he spoke, and Tull could hardly stand. Tull and Richert consented to a Data Master test with a results of .241 and .281, respectively.

Tull and Richert were released on promise to appear.
