Larry Caylor — Osceola

Larry Caylor, 65, of Osceola died Dec. 17, 2013.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at Trinity Christian Church in Decatur City. Terry Roberts will officiate. Interment will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Murray Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Kale Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Osceola. Online condolences may be left at www.kalefuneralhome.com.

Larry Joe Caylor, son of Twyla (Fulton) and Robert Caylor, was born Dec. 14, 1948, in Osceola.

Larry received his diploma at Central Decatur High School. He later attended DMACC and received a vocational degree specializing in heating and air conditioning.

On Oct. 28, 1993, Larry married Josephine “Jo” Pashek in Leon.

Larry played in several bands, including The Kingpins and Heartland Express, once opening for Sammy Davis Jr. in Las Vegas.

Larry is survived by his spouse Jo Caylor of Osceola, brother Bob (Nancy) Caylor of Urbandale, son Thad (Connie) Caylor of Urbandale, stepson Chad Pashek of Osceola; grandchildren, Carson and Riley Caylor and Mariah Johannes; nieces and nephews and many friends and relatives.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and sister Donna Jean Rumley.
