Kathleen Patricia Croker and James Edward Schaefer, both of Osceola, were married April 20, 2013, at Saint Bernard Catholic Church in Osceola.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Mary Lou Croker of Marshalltown. The groom is the son of Joe and Janel Schaefer of Creston.
The Rev. Glen Wilwerding officiated the ceremony. Music was provided by vocalist Samantha Horback and pianist Lynn Baker. John Gervich and Aaron Gervich, cousins of the bride, were lectors.
Matron of honor was Colleen Kelly, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Molly Gervich, cousin of the bride, Jennifer Martin, sister of the groom, and Beth Muckler.
Personal attendant was Samantha Kaeding, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Keith Riley. Groomsmen were Jason Parkins, Scott Abildtrup and Todd McNichols.
Ushers were Aaron Kelly, brother-in-law of the bride, Jim Martin, brother-in-law of the groom, Ryan Oshel. Junior usher was Logan Kelly, nephew of the bride.
Ringbearers were Ryan Kelly and Sean Kelly, nephews of the bride.
A reception was held at Lakeside Casino, hosted by Ed and Leshia Stoll, uncle and aunt of the groom.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Marshalltown High School. She graduated from Wartburg College in 2004 and is currently employed as manager of accounts payable and payroll at Hormel Foods in Osceola.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Creston High School. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo., in 1997 and is currently employed as a financial consultant at Wells Fargo in West Des Moines.
After a honeymoon to Italy and Greece on a Mediterranean cruise, the couple reside in Osceola.
