PRESCOTT — It's again safe to drink the water in Prescott — this after Southern Iowa Rural Water Association (SIRWA) lifted the boil advisory for the city Friday afternoon. SIRWA and Department of Natural Resources (DNR) took two water samples and both tested clean for bacteria.

The advisory was issued Wednesday morning after a contractor hit a water main, causing the city to lose water pressure.
