GREENFIELD — Vocal talent from Southwestern Community College will take the stage at Warren Cultural Center, 154 Public Square, Greenfield, when the group Harmonic Convergence performs Feb. 15. This six-person vocal jazz ensemble is made up of students from across the country and is a showpiece of the nationally-acclaimed SWCC music program.

The restored opera house auditorium will be set with club seating (tables and chairs). Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students under 18.
Valentine’s chocolates and other snacks, along with wine, beer and soft drinks will be for sale at the show.
Harmonic Convergence is a select ensemble focusing primarily on harmonically complex vocal jazz literature. The group performs extensively throughout the United States and Canada and has shared the stage with such groups as m-pact, The Four Freshman and The Real Group. It also serves as the featured ensemble in residence at SWCC’s School for Music Vocation’s vocal jazz workshops, held each summer in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Creston. Lucas Mattson, musical director, has performed at Carnegie Hall and the World Choral Symposium.
Group members are Travis Latour of Sparta, Wis., Adrienne Brown of Des Moines, Nick Roberto of Santa Cruz, Calif., Priscilla Perry of Los Angeles, Calif., Nick Rohr of Brainerd, Minn., and Hannah Fearn of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
