Sarah Marie Brown, 34, 1200 W. Jefferson St., was cited for failure to obey a stop or yield sign after an accident 11:40 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of West Seneca and North Elm streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Brown, driving a 2003 Ford west on West Seneca, proceeded into the path of a 2005 Chrysler driven south on North Elm by Kevin Dean DeBoer, 37, 604 N. Elm St., and collided with DeBoer’s vehicle.

Damage estimates are $1,500 to Brown’s vehicle and $1,000 to DeBoer’s vehicle.

No citations were issued after an accident 12:14 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of East Mills and North Birch streets.

According to a Creston Police report, Dwain Michael Ripperger, 39, of Afton, driving a 2002 Toyota south on North Birch, was distracted talking to a passenger, tried to stop at the intersection of North Birch and East Mills and slid into the intersection, striking a 2012 Ford driven west on East Mills by John Randall Cook, 59, 602 N. Cherry St.

Damage estimates are $1,200 to Ripperger’s vehicle and $2,000 to Cook’s vehicle.
